AMENDMENT TO
THE AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF
BILLING AND COLLECTION SERVICES
This Amendment is made a part of the Agreement for the Provision of Billing and Collection Services
("BCS Agreement"), dated April 1, 1997, by and between U S WEST
Communications, Inc. and Malheur Home Telephone Company, (hereinafter "USWC") and U S WEST Long Distance, Inc.
(hereinafter "Customer"), acting through their authorized representatives.
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the term of the BCS Agreement while the parties negotiate in good faith a
new agreement for billing and collection services; and
WHEREAS, the BCS Agreement provides that it may be amended by the parties pursuant to Section XXI;
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
All of the terms and conditions of the BCS Agreement shall continue on a month-to-month basis during negotiations
for a new agreement, subject to termination by either party upon thirty days notice. However, prices applicable
to the BCS Agreement, as extended hereunder, shall be USWC pricing for billing and collection services in effect
as of the 1st of April 2000.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to be executed as of the last date signed below.
